'CanvasPaperLane started as a vision: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to London. The venture was established by the Rossi household in 1985, starting as a quaint, family-managed shop that drew on ancestral recipes.
The esteemed Marco Rossi, our initiator, mastered pizza crafting during her exploration of Italy, where she apprenticed with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples—the homeland of pizza. After arriving back in the UK, her mission was to emulate the enchantment of genuine Italian pizza, sticking to age-old techniques and selecting only the premium components.
Our once small 12-seat venue has matured into a cherished culinary fixture, yet our dedication to excellence and tradition stands firm. We abide by the same wood-burning oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch each day, and persist in seeking out top-tier ingredients.
Present-day, 'CanvasPaperLane' is still in the hands of the Rossi lineage, with the progeny at the helm of our zealous collective. Though we have adopted a few contemporary practices, the essence of our operation remains intact: forging sumptuous, authentic pizza that gathers folk together.
